CRANTOCK BEACH in NEWQUAY

A short walk away

Beautiful Crantock Beach is ideal for surfers, swimmers, walkers or just sunbathers. The warm water of the Gannel at low tide is popular with children. Swimming in the Gannel at any other time however can be very dangerous due to strong currents; therefore parents and adult bathers must beware. Lifeguards, who do offer advice as to where on the beach it is safe to enter the water, patrol the beach in the summer months.
