The Local Pubs - just around the corner

The Old Albion

The famous thatched Old Albion (on the right in the picture) and more modern Cornishman (left) are both only a few yards away. Both serve food throughout most of the year and during the season entertainment is often advertised, check the boards for details while you are there.

The Bowgie Inn at West Pentire is also within walking distance via road or beach and will reward you with spectacular views across Crantock Bay when you arrive. They have an extensive food menu on offer for all tastes. The traditional Pig Sty and Stable bar offer a more relaxing atmosphere while the large Ocean bar is kitted out with several flat screen televisions with Sky Sports for anyone wanting to catch up perhaps with their football or cricket teams!

Other Cornish pubs worth a visit are The St Pirans Inn at Holywell Bay - good food, The Smugglers Den at Trebellan (Cubert) - good food, The Miners Arms at Mithian - Cornish olde worlde pub, The Lewinnick Lodge, Pentire Headland Newquay - for amazing views, especially at sunset.
